MCP Chat FactBox

The MCP Chat FactBox provides an AI-powered chat interface embedded directly on Business Central pages. It enables you to query and interact with your business data using natural language through the MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration.

How to Use

The MCP Chat FactBox appears on the right side of supported pages (customers, items, sales orders, purchase orders, etc.). Type your question or request in the chat input field and press Enter to receive AI-generated responses based on your Business Central data.

Prerequisites

• MCP Chat must be enabled for your user in the User Setup Editor.
• An API key or OAuth refresh token must be configured.
• A chat role may optionally be assigned to customize the AI behavior.
